A specially developed and designed climate control system provides cooling and heating of the armored personnel carrier under extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to +55 °C.
The climate control system for the Khorunzhyi armored personnel carrier consists of a Webasto Thermo Pro 50 Eco independent engine pre-heater, a Webasto Air Top Evo 40 independent air heater, as well as TPU evaporators with heating and cooling functions, designed and manufactured according to individual requirements. For integration into the Khorunzhyi armored personnel carrier, the engineers at Thermo Projects Ukraine developed an integrated front HVAC unit with a cooling capacity of 6.2 kW and a heating capacity of 8.5 kW, as well as a rear VAC unit with a cooling capacity of 9 kW.
The proposed solution ensures the required temperature inside the vehicle according to the customer’s specified technical requirements.
